SWSRA offers internships and fieldwork experience opportunities year-round to college students majoring in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field. Each experience is specifically designed to prepare the student for their professional career by combining practical, hands-on learning with their educational backgrounds according to SWSRA and university requirements.

The internship program is supervised by a CTRS and duties involve all the standards set by NCTRC for certification.
