Summer Day Camp General Information
SWSRA Day Camp is intended for individuals age 3 & up with mild to severe disabilities who are unable to successfully participate in typical park district activities. SWSRA is accredited by Park District Risk Management Association (PDRMA).
SWSRA provides many activities for all to ensure a fun-filled summer in a structured setting, allowing growth socially, emotionally, physically, and increase of self-esteem, awareness, motor skills, and socialization.
Overall, our main goals are to build character, build friendships, be safe, and have fun!
Session A: June 15th - July 2nd / 3 Weeks
Session B: July 13th - August 7th / 4 Weeks
No Camp: July 3rd to July 10th
Full Day Camp Time: Monday—Friday 10:00am - 3:00pm
Half Day Camp Time: Monday—Friday 10:00am - 12:00pm (avalable for ages 3 to 5)
Camp Location: Prairie Jr. High - 11900 S. Kostner Ave., Alsip IL
Transportation Available for Residents Only—NEW: ALL transportation is now for participants age 9 and older.
Kids age 3-8 will not be allowed on transportation to/from camp OR during camp.
Campers MUST BE 9 years old on day 1 of camp.

*(Or until filled, whichever is first; Our camp fills up quickly, don’t wait!!)
Registrations received after April 24th are subject to a 20% fee increase for both
camp fees and transportation fees! This includes ADDING any sessions AFTER
the registration deadline. Be SURE to register early! SPACE IS LIMITED!
